Key considerations that need to make their way into public policy

This post functions as a sort of “lesson plan” for people relatively new to the idea that mainstream media has been keeping key information re: COVID-19 illness and vaccine products from Canadians. It pulls together key content from various testimonies of the recently completed National Citizens’ Inquiry into Canada’s handling of the Covid Crisis (aka NCI) AS WELL AS previous posts written on this FollowingtheCovidScience substack.

The first section is written as an email is going to all Alberta NDP, UCP, and other candidates as our provincial election campaign season draws to a close. It is general enough that it can be used to educate candidates in other jurisdictions. But the KEY CONSIDERATIONS listed below are essential reading for any and all other audiences at this point in time.

Thank you first of all, for putting in so much time, effort and personal costs to engage in the democratic process in this very direct way.

Regardless of whether your party wins or doesn’t win on election night, we have all won in that so many of you stepped out of convenience and stepped into commitment. It's been fun reading all your blurbs as I went through to find your email addresses. You certainly are a diverse group of excellent individuals whose contributions even outside of politics certainly enrich this province.

Thank you for that!

It is my hope you can take the time after election night to read the information below and to consider its implications for you and your close circle of private citizens as well as for public policy at all levels of government moving forward regardless of whatever you may be doing next. I trust that you will read what follows with an open mind, starting fresh so to speak. 

As a retired educator and private citizen with a background in health advocacy for certain friends and relatives with under-served illnesses, I have been closely "following the Covid Science" for a few years now. I wish to be (as I state on my @FollowingCVSc Twitter page) “amplifying the voices and lived experiences of those who are aware of the evolving evidence-based c*v*d science” and to teach those people who like you are very well intentioned, but who also might not yet have gotten out from inside the mainstream media bubble to discover the wide range of information that has somehow been kept from you!

These are the key considerations we all need to ponder at this time:

1. We need firstly to ascertain whether we have been working with a full spectrum of information or whether we have been limiting ourselves to that information presented to us by others whatever their motives. 2. The news quiz points you in the direction of the first ever national inquiry into Canada's handling of the COVID crisis. While you may not yet have heard of this inquiry, please note it is the first ever in the world, covering 8 cities over 24 days allowing roughly 300 lay and expert witnesses to provide sworn testimony before a panel of four independent commissioners. It is critical that all Canadians understand the implications of the testimony presented at this inquiry. For a growing number of families, the "affordability crisis" can also be tied to vaccine injury preventing workers from holding down their pre-injection means of earning an income. Silence about this is compounded by physicians' inability to report vaccine injuries as they face the threat of having their licence to practice pulled away by the medical colleges that oversee them. Regardless of where you land after the election, please make it your business to look into the long delays and financial shortfalls related to Canada's vaccine injury compensation system, as there will be a segment of people greatly impacted by this in almost every riding in the province. Ask yourself whether any consideration of the COVID-vaccine-injured made its way into the development of your party's policy platform. This may be a glaring omission for all among you who advocate so diligently for the elderly, the developmentally delayed and other demographics. Very striking is the higher preponderance of women among various types of vaccine injured, something that should be of great concern to all who advocate for gender and socioeconomic equity. Also striking is the high all cause mortality rate in 2022 in communities with a high uptake of COVID vaccines, particularly among the 20 to 50 year old age range, leaving behind a lot of grief, loss and economic hardship. That too is something all caring and compassionate Canadians such as yourselves need to be aware of but that as yet is not being talked about openly. For those of you fortunate enough to be voted in shortly, any talk of "moving forward post-COVID" that does NOT address this reality will smack of denialism and will diminish your standing in the eyes of those families and communities mostly affected. 

3. The National Citizens' Inquiry (NCI) relies completely on the work of volunteers. As such, it will take some time before ALL of the sworn testimony has been transcribed and translated into both official languages. 4. Realizing that we have essentially been lied to by our trusted media and lawmakers is chilling, especially if we are responsible for having encouraged others we love dearly to have taken these injections in good faith. Shock, denial, depression etc. are many of the feelings associated with grief, change and loss. Dr. Makis is just one of many many concerned science and medical professionals world wide who have been using their specialized training and critical thinking skills and who  have come to the same conclusion...what has been sold to us as "vaccines" to prevent the transmission and illness of the "novel" SARS-CoV-2 virus has only been healthy to the bottom line of the large pharmaceutical corporations while being toxic to human health. Silence is Complicit - NCI witnesses speak out... Is anyone listening?

was written to somehow cajole mainstream media journalists to cover the various hearings of the NCI. Going back to point 1 above, by having our formerly "trusted purveyors of news" turn a blind eye to the continued "pandemic of the vaccinated" results in decision makers continuing to not work with the full scope of information on key matters. For evidence of this, we simply need to look at the recently revised federal Liberal party platform and see how they continue believing in some supposed merits of COVID-19 "vaccine" mandate moving forward.

6. With all this talk of "misinformation" "disinformation" and even "malinformation" coming through mainstream and social media, it is crucial for us all to orient ourselves as to how the field of public health ACTUALLY defines terms like "data" "knowledge" and "information" (please see: https://followingthecovidscience.substack.com/p/data-information-evidence-and-knowledge). A peek at the Canadian Associations of Journalists' Ethics guidelines reminds us all what is expected of journalists at every level so that we can hold them to account. Ask, are they doing this...News organizations – including newspapers, websites, magazines, radio and television – provide forums for the free interchange of information and opinion. As such, we seek to include views from all segments of the population. ... We also encourage our organizations to make room for the interests of all: minorities and majorities, those with power and those without it, holders of disparate and conflicting views.... We serve democracy and the public interest by reporting the truth. This sometimes conflicts with various public and private interests, including those of sources, governments, advertisers and, on occasion, with our duty and obligation to an employer. Defending the public’s interest includes promoting the free flow of information, exposing crime or wrongdoing, protecting public health and safety, and preventing the public from being misled.j

7. 8. The big question for anyone who received one or more injections (eagerly, grudgingly or against their will) once they discover the myriad potential dangers of either the components (PEG, lipid nanoparticles, mRNA) or the potential effects (travelling across the blood brain barrier, the placental barrier, triggering trillions of copies of spike protein, unleashing auto-immune attacks, the next question that always follows is "what can I do about this now"? The good news is that awareness and acceptance are the first step for the rest of the journey. There are steps that can be taken, protocols that can be followed

   a) to support the body's immune system in order to better fight off any infections moving forward

   b) to release the bonds of spike protein to the ACE-2 receptors allowing them to be flushed out

   c) tests that can be taken to search out 'subclinical" symptoms before these symptoms worsen and potentially become fatal. One or more posts pointing out links to information on all these topics is planned for the  site in the coming weeks, so please visit again soon.
