How Willful Ignorance can be a Crime against Humanity

A plea to political candidates to look beyond ideology

So let’s start with the WILLFUL & the IGNORING / IGNORANCE part of this statement.

I have been sharing information with a wide range of people on the Followingthecovidscience twitter account recently. A few weeks ago, in the lead up to our provincial election, a particular political candidate responded with:

So at the time, I reached out to the campaign email address to share the following message:

Hello…

I have been writing to you and others from @FollowingCVSci and have been politely providing you with educational comments and links to evidence-based science around the largest issue to hit our planet these past three years.

Can it be that you have staff who simply assume that content which differs from the outdated "official" public health messaging is simply "misinformation"?

If it was the decision of your staff to block me, please inform them that you as a science-based thinker and life long learner WANT to be challenged to learn from the top COVID-19 related scientists in the world and that you appreciate someone taking the time to point you in directions that in the lead up to your campaign, you have not yet had the time to investigate.

If, on the other hand, it was you personally who chose to block me, I would love to have the courtesy of your rationale.

If you unknowingly assumed that a "counter-narrative" to a mainstream narrative is by necessity "misinformation" you might want to think back over many times in history when we have learned from the errors of our previous ways.

I can direct you to three posts that address the disconnect between what we were/are being told by government vs. what scientists in the field have been working on in the background:

In my public life, I am focused on the future of [the name of the riding] and Alberta, and the issues that I am hearing about on the many hundreds of doorsteps I have visited.

This is not one of them. While I'm sure it is important to you, I will not be communicating with you further on anything related to this subject. This is final.

So as I pondered what to do next, I tried counting up the number of times I personally have reached out to politicians these past three years only to be met with their distinct choice to DISMISS what I was talking about. Then I tried multiplying that number by the ever-growing numbers of reports of others following where the evidence has been leading these past years. Many, many likeminded, science-following, state/corporate media ignoring, thoughtful, caring Canadians — we are ALL reporting the same phenomenon of WILLFUL BLINDNESS among the adherents of the pro-C-19 vax narrative.

We are all noticing…

A lack of intellectual curiosity.

&

A dogmatic refusal to engage in the possibility that “Public Health” could have made or could still be making errors.

The earliest people who were pointing at that possibility in Canada were subsequently vilified by the highest holder of public office in this land as a “fringe minority.”

Yet, as more and more of us have had the curiosity and courage to look more closely, we are rapidly becoming the “outraged moderate majority” that politicians (and candidates) dare not ignore!

So not being one to give up easily, I wrote back:

Dear…

Thank you very much for the courtesy of your reply. (You are the first from your party who has given me an actual reason for wanting to block this type of information so I appreciate your honesty.)

Given that you and I have a mutual contact from your life before politics, I am taking the liberty of cc’ing that person in the hopes of expanding this conversation. I feel like we are like-minded in many ways with many of the same concerns for the wellbeing of the people of this province and the only difference between us is that one of us is willing to look at disturbing information while the other is not.

I will limit my response to two aspects:

• why people might not feel free to bring the topic up when confronted by Team Orange candidates on the doorstep and

• how the implications of what is being learned through the testimonies at the National Citizens’ Inquiry WILL have a MAJOR IMPACT on Government budgets, the economy, public policy, the workforce, the healthcare system, media awareness, and general societal trust levels for decades to come.

ERGO, not something to be ignored. Rather something to ensure that all fellow candidates are aware of pronto!

Let’s think about this…

Team Orange somehow allowed their party leader to believe for SEVEN MONTHS after clear evidence to the contrary that COVID-19 injections were

• Effective

• Safe

• Necessary

And even now, TWENTY MONTHS LATER, Team Orange still has not gotten with the program and changed their tune. And INCREDIBLY, rumour has it that for some inexplicable reason, the federal Liberals are STILL advocating continued COVID -19 mandatory vaccination for federal workers. They likely have NO CLUE how the vax mandate has already decimated the Canadian armed forces as explained by military lawyer Catherine Christensen as part of her testimony to the National Citizens’ Inquiry. She was interviewed here and gave her full testimony here

How can it be that Ms. Notley, an intelligent and compassionate woman, I am sure, continues advocating for what clearly is much more harmful than helpful to Albertans? Who is advising Ms. Notley? Obviously Ms. Notley and all other NDP MLAs were and still must be getting their information from Alberta Health Services websites like this one https://www.alberta.ca/covid19-vaccine-myths-and-facts.aspx. Are you all still not suspicious of FIXED information sources, sources that have not changed despite continually evolving developments in the science around this topic? Can you possibly believe that on this ONE topic, science stood still? And continues standing still? Why even hair and fingernails are constantly growing, would not the volume of knowledge in the fields of prevention, treatment and interventions be continually advancing? Wouldn’t anyone wonder whether two to three years later, something new had been learned? Is no one on Team Orange even aware that Alberta Health CONTINUES to post the same misinformation that they posted at the start of this Covid Crisis? How can your Team possibly govern, if they don’t show the ability to adapt to change, or develop policies in line with changing needs in society? In an ever changing world, the rigid adherence to fixed (and incorrect) data just won’t cut it for any government, aspiring or incumbent.

Can it be that over the past three years, NO ONE on Team Orange ever started wondering why so many concerned citizens were reaching out to them with information that showed the OPPOSITE of Health Canada and AHS publications? Why would that be? Why did top level doctors, nurses, professors, researchers and others committed to their oaths of helping humanity put it all on the line to reach out to you and others? Did none of you even ask?

Did no one remember how big Tobacco corporations and Big Pharma corporations put PROFIT over PEOPLE in the past? Is the NDP no longer the voice for the people?

By continuing to not question the pro-vax push, the NDP (and the federal Liberals) have become apologists for Big Pharma (even bigger and more powerful than BigOil, BigMilitary, BigIndustury and every other corporation the NDP used to fight against.)

Where is the soul of the NDP these days? It must be pretty tough to be the scrappy underdog fighting for the common worker when your leader is closely aligned with members and associates of the world’s largest and most influential corporate lobby group, the World Economic Forum. Since provincial and federal NDP membership are closely linked, the membership of Jagmeet Singh, Justin Trudeau, and in particular Chrystia Freeland alongside of the heads of BigPharma corporations like Albert Bourla (Pfizer) and Stéphane Bancel (Moderna), not to mention all the other new BigPharma billionaires alongside of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Klaus Schwab and Yuval Harari MUST BE QUESTIONED BY YOUR RANK AND FILE… by YOU as a candidate who got into the boat with this crew. Do you even know where they are leading you?

So here are some reasons why this topic is not coming up on the doorstep:

a) 92.6 percent of Albertans who have chosen NOT to go for a booster in the past 6 months are rapidly being considered “unvaccinated” as their “protection wanes”.

I certainly wouldn’t want to “out” my household as a potential target for a provincial army of vax-pushers should Ms. Notley come to power in a very short time!

Dark humour and cartoons aside - a bigger issue is that many many many people who have chosen to take these shots, or were compelled tom take them in order to have access to their elderly parents, to their jobs, to travel, to their activities of every day living AND who are now facing life-altering disabilities, or are simply sick and missing work much more often than before, are NOT AWARE of the connection MONTHS LATER between the injection and various new-to-them health problems. So they don’t bring up vaccines when you and your team come doorknocking!

OR they are aware and have disabilities and have already applied for compensation and have been gaslit and or have been waiting for months already to hear from someone and have run out of savings and are borrowing money from family and/or have sold their homes and are now living in rental situations, or in trailers on campgrounds, going to the Foodbank and and and… and might need to call upon their political representatives for help at some point of desperation. Would someone like that, when faced with a known Pro-Vax candidate, really bring up this topic now? I think not - if I were to need your help one day down the road, why black-mark myself in your files today?

Now, here is another question … are you truly knocking at every house? Or are you choosing to avoid houses that have posters in support of the Trucker Convoy, or houses sporting a sign of a colour different that that of your Team? If you were to keep an open mind and truly listen to people in those houses, you might learn something to turn the tide on a heretofore willfully ignorant stance. By skipping the homes of fellow citizens whose sources of news coverage differ from yours, you might artificially be assuming that COVID related matters are in the rearview mirror when for many, they are still extremely relevant.

Now, let’s move to the CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

What do these items have in common?

• Depleted uranium + various DU munitions makers

• Mercury + Chisso Corporation

• Agent Orange + Monsanto

• Radium + the US Radium Corporation

• various toxic gases + Union Carbide (of the Bhopal disaster)

• PFOA + Dupont

• Asbestos + various manufacturers

• Aluminum sulfate + Lowermoor Water Treatment Works

• polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) + Michelin Chemical Corporation

• thalidomide + Chemie Grunenthal

• OxyContin + Purdue Pharma

Now, consider all of the suffering engendered among the victims of these disasters. And imagine something of a scope far greater, possibly greater than all of these combined… with consequences still not yet even known or imagined.

And then consider your role in this matter. Have you complied or countered? Researched or regurgitated? Questioned, queried or acquiesced? Rationalized or ridiculed?

If at this point, you still are not aware of the preponderance of evidence to COUNTER the myth that the “Covid-19 vaccines are safe, effective and necessary” I invite you to go back to the start and read the three articles I had linked you to, especially the one called “Flipping the Switch on Information & Misinformation”.

Then you should see that anyone still telling you in 2023 that these products are “safe, effective & necessary” is perpetuating misinformation. And those courageous folk who have been trying to let the world know why and how these products are INeffective, UNsafe, and UNnecessary are the real heroes here.

During the recently completed twenty four days of Citizen’s Hearings, Canadians learned an awful lot (and yes truly awful).
