A handy handout to follow when checking up on your favourite politician's level of media literacy!

This document (see link below) is intended for use in Alberta’s current election season. But it is written in an open-ended manner for use in other jurisdictions and for other purposes (as a self-quiz, for example).

10 KEY QUESTIONS TO ASK CANDIDATES

Just like you can’t drive a car with only two tires, or half an engine so you can’t plan or vote on government policy with only half the information.

Ask these questions of your preferred candidates to see if they are working with a full range of news.

❑ Do you get your news mostly from CBC, CTV, Global, Postmedia (Edm Journal/Sun) or any other standard Canadian news outlet?

❑ Have you heard of the Trusted News Initiative, Project Origin or Truth in Journalism?(1)

❑ Are you aware that most mainstream media outlets are aligned with these initiatives along with social media companies who are ALSO investment partners of the biggest pharma & tech companies & weapons manufacturers? And that the resulting bias violates the Can. Assoc. of  Journalists’ Code of Ethics? (2)

❑ Are you aware of the1000s of pages of Pfizer trial data released by a US court order showing how Covid vax data was manipulated to claim non-existent safety? Canadian mainstream media has not mentioned this SINCE MAR 2022. (3)

❑ Have you heard how Health Canada’s test for vaccine safety was changed for Covid such that safety was no longer a criterion? (4)

❑ Do you realize that Canadian physicians, researchers, political figures and other leaders have lost their jobs and licenses advocating for YOUR right to get full, unbalanced information on key issues around Covid-19 mitigation? (5)

❑ Did you know that there have been 24 days of expert & witness testimony re: Canada’s COVID response with approximately 240 hours and almost as many documents collected? (6)

❑ Are you aware that working age people with more than one dose of Covid-19 vaccine are at the highest risk of disability or unexpected death? And that one of the consequences of getting that injection can be the continued production of a substance toxic to the body? And that post-vax treatment to neutralize some of these effects exist?(7)

❑ Can you contemplate the impact to public policy, tax collection, budgeting, financing social services if even 10% of working aged people are pulled from the economy? The estimate is even higher considering the need to pull full time caregivers from other jobs. Of particular concerns are neurological disorders which will take months or years to show up.  (8)

❑ Have you heard that the majority of staff shortages in health care professions relate to the firing of the unvaccinated and the disability, death & continued illnesses and work days lost of those who took the injections? (9)

❑ Are you aware that similar deception is occurring as a result of media & BigCorp collusion, including on the topics of climate change and of the military situation in Ukraine? (10) This means that by supporting continued conflict in the proxy war run by Pres. Biden “down to the last Ukrainian” in order to fulfill the technocratic vision he and other superrich global elites have for the future, Canada has helped to ensure the killing of our Ukrainian allies. (Yes, like getting called names for seeking balance in the COVID news, askers may be lambasted for seeking balance in news on climate, Ukraine, etc.) 

EVERY CITIZEN SHOULD BE AWARE OF FINANCIAL INTERFERENCE in mainstream news. Seek INDEPENDENT sources to balance out the bias.

Just as with COVID-19, members of the world’s largest corporate lobby group (WEF) are in a position to frighten citizens into believing that CO2 reductions will honestly have an effect on global climate, when it is clear that climate cycles depend on the sun’s powers. There are many other practical actions we should be taking instead to support a healthy environment and a healthy global population.
