Please take a look at the array of items posted on this Substack as you contemplate the recent comments by Minister Duclos are: keeping our vax status "up to date" by getting the COVID-19 shot every 9 months.
For starters, I recommend:

The July 8/9/10 posts were directed to your Federal Counterparts, but we are not rewriting them for your context as you will be able to make your own connections between the information shown there and your own legislative and personal circumstances. This letter to you will also be posted for public education purposes.
For those involved with party leadership campaigns, and/or with the development of new proposed legislation (as well as for your own personal decision making) it is crucial that you are aware of the total LACK of safety, efficacy and necessity of these COVID-19 shots.
Yes, you are hearing of new variants that are more virulent than before. Keep in mind that while they are more contagious, they are less damaging -- for the unvaxxed, or the single dosed.
The more doses people receive, the LOWER their immune response, so the BEST course is NOT to keep lining up for more shots otherwise people fall into a vicious circle, and end up playing "Russian roulette" with their lives and long term health. Keep in mind also, that it is the use of leaky (non-neutralizing) vaccines targeting only one protein of the virus that lets the virus "escape" and mutate into ever more variants. You may not know that the current boosters are still coded to the original Wuhan version of the virus and new attempts to update the shots will result in double the amount of spike protein generation, i.e. double the harms.
Instead of pushing for more vaxxing/boosting, etc. the province needs to budget for inexpensive, safe and effective antivirals that have proven themselves beyond all doubt as well as for far more health care and assisted home care for those who have already received their 2-3-4 doses. You can see in the post "The True Heroes" (July 8) that health care costs often go up exponentially AFTER the injection.
Please use all means at your disposal to tell the federal level in no uncertain terms that we cannot afford the physical, psychological and societal damage of offering MORE Covid VAX. In NO WAY can the provincial governments stay silent as Minister Duclos and Dr. Tam move forward with their unscientific messaging re: MORE Covid shots every 9 months.
There is more than enough data with which to counteract statements by Minister Duclos, such as this astute observation:

The province also needs to come clean on the true reasons for staff shortages in all lines of work, particularly with regard to first responders. Has anyone documented the numbers of staff lost to the vaccine mandate, which may have been couched as "stress related early retirement"?
Likewise, how many of the staff who are frequently calling in sick and missing shifts are dealing with new health issues post inoculation? The sooner provincial authorities come forward with the truth (we were duped, folks and just fell for the narrative, etc.) the sooner employers, employees, patients, and the general public can come to some kind of understanding, and yes.. certain heads will roll - in particular those who chose to ignore the true information (possibly for financial gain). Moving forward, IN NO WAY should the province again mandate that provincial employees need to get the shot and neither should AHS insinuate that employers are "doing the right thing" by requiring proof of "up to date" vaccination of their employees.

He explained that in the field of occupational health there were no studies or impact assessments done on the use of the current crop of so-called “masks”. He warns that these barriers force us to breathe in bacteria and fungi, from the moist and warm environment created under the barrier. There are also hazards to wearing N95 devices, because of the particles that are released and inhaled during prolonged use.
